Here we are shining the spotlight on this 12.0mtr x 3.0mtr Modular Butchery Unit :
Our customer approached us to design & manufacture a bespoke Butchery Unit, following the decision to produce, process & sell their own beef. Discussing the needs of the customer & how they want to run their business is an essential part of any project, from layout to product flow, staff welfare to industry regulations.
Once the internal layout is finalised production can begin in our East Yorkshire factory : insulated panels are used to create the food safe walls & weather-proof external profile. Electrics, refrigeration, plumbing & flooring are fitted, tested & commissioned.
This particular Butchery Unit boasts a cutting & packing area with a handwash & equipment sink & an air-conditioning unit. At the main entrance it has a staff welfare area, with coat hooks & a sanitising station.
The aluminium Tonon rail system runs through to the holding chiller, which can accommodate 40 hook spaces, allowing easy carcass movement & reducing the need for manual handling.
The finished goods chiller is fitted with Tonon Eko Fit 4 tier shelving.
The weather hasn’t done it justice today but the Anthracite colourway looks great too! Here you can also see the dual entrance, the main one leading into the processing area & the other leading directly into the chiller.
Once delivered to site the unit is put into position with a Hiab, connected to services & is ready to use!
